NIFF 2026 – Judge Registration
Become a Judge for the Northwest International National Film Festival
Thank you for your interest in serving as a judge for NIFF 2026! Our festival depends on dedicated reviewers who are passionate about film, storytelling, and creative expression. All judging can be completed online, and full training is provided.
What Judges Do
- Experience is not required. We provide a short course on how to judge films
- Spend 2 hours per week online watching short films from the comfort of your home
- Review assigned films between December 1, 2025 – August 30, 2026
- Score films using NIFF’s standardized judging criteria form
- Provide short, constructive feedback
- Participate in optional virtual or in-person roundtables
- Maintain confidentiality and avoid conflicts of interest
